Replacing heavy drapes with shutters or blinds can add a little more space to your room too. Adding mirrors might not give you any extra areas, but it will give the feel of a more open space, which can make things feel a little less cramped in smaller bedrooms.
When it comes to lighting and entertainment features you could find yourself disagreeing, people use bedrooms in different ways.
