There are things in life you think about doing, and then you stop yourself, either out of fear and anxiety, or because other things simply take priority and get in the way. However, life goes quickly, and there are some things that you will regret NOT doing, and there are others you will never regret if you take the plunge and do them, don’t leave it any longer.
Eating food that nourishes your body
How many times have you eaten an enormous pizza and regretted it straight after? How many times have you eaten healthy nutritious food and then regretted it? Exactly. It’s good to have a balance and to treat yourself, but it’s also essential to feel good and nutritious food makes you feel good. Making smart food choices is both good for you physically and psychologically and is not something that people ever regret – if it is, you can always go back to eating rubbish, it’ll still be there waiting for you – but chances are you’ll feel so good that you won’t.
Taking care of yourself
This really goes hand in hand with nourishing your body with good food, but look after yourself too. Whether it’s pampering, massages, taking long baths, treating yourself to a parasite cleanse like this one from KB wellness, getting a facial every now and then, or simply moisturizing your skin when you get out of the shower. You won’t regret looking after yourself.
Getting your finances in order
While this is a bit dull, no one ever regretted getting their finances in order. Knowing how much you have, what you need, sorting out your debts, and facing your financials rather than burying your head in the sand will take away lots of worry and stress from your life. It might be uncomfortable, to begin with, but it’s so important to know where you stand, and then you can sort out what you need to and get straight and start making and enjoying your money while also being able to plan for your future.
Quitting that job you hate
There is no point in working somewhere that doesn’t make you 100% happy. Quit, and find something you can’t wait to do each day. Life is too short to do anything else. Of course, there are bills to pay and responsibilities, but anyone who has ever taken the risk and got out of a job they hated has never looked back. Quitting your job will give you the push you need to do what you really want with your life.
Spending more time with your loved ones
Your family and friends are the people who support you, they are the people who lift you and cheer you on, and you do the same for them in return. Choosing to spend more time with these people can never be a bad thing. You’ll never regret spending time with people who love you, who make you happy, who warm your heart, who inspire you and make you laugh.
